Reason for Defeat:
EACA:IP1E must be run in local mode due to a faulty cable (E-Fault 15848). So to allow the ion gauge in the same section (EACA:IG1E) to remain running, it must be bypassed.

How Was Defeat Implemented?
Where is Defeat Located?:
EACA:IG1E interlocks were bypassed through the Bypass/Force function in EPICS. EACA:IG1E is physically located in the E-Hall and it's controller is on the E-Hall roof.
Describe Alternate Protection:
If the pressure becomes too high, the IG has its own electronically embedded protection to trip off. Confirmed that RF trip box will still trip if IG reading gets too high.
