B2A:IG4 is off and times out when we try to turn it on. After speaking with Edi and Dimo we suspect a faulty ion gauge since the backing pressure for this section's turbopump is comparable to the rest of the beamline. Element defeated so we can open 2AVA4 and deliver beam to 2A.

Valve will still close if B2A:IG3 reads a bad vacuum.

The first time the force was removed about 2 weeks ago, B2AVA4 closed immediately on bad vacuum. Today, the valve remained open. However, I closed B2AVA4 with the force removed and the vacuum at IG4 degraded to just below the 'good vacuum' threshold. With the valve open and extra pumping the vacuum at IG4 should remain good.
